Give to the Village
We have grown in the past ten+ years to a thriving community making a real difference in enhancing the quality of life for many adults 50+ in the Petaluma/Penngrove area. Donations help provide for staff salaries, office rental and expenses, liability insurance, outreach - and the Membership Partners Program, our scholarship fund for people living on limited incomes.
The 300+ Villages nationwide average up to 30% of their revenue from member fees, and the remainder primarily from donations – which is true for us as well.
Please join the growing list of community members whose generous contributions have helped build a thriving and sustainable Village that can be here for all of us as we grow older.
All gifts to the Village Network of Petaluma are tax-deductible.

If you are required to take an annual withdrawal from your IRA, you can minimize income tax on your required minimum distribution (RMD) by donating all or a portion of your RMD directly to a qualifying charity, which must be a 501(c)(3) organization like the Village Network of Petaluma. This charitable contribution, called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), must be made directly payable to the charity from your IRA. For more information, talk to your financial advisor.

While volunteers do not need to be members of the Village, members are encouraged to be volunteers. Please see our Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.
