Food As Medicine: Eating For Pleasure And Nourishment

Food as Medicine: Eating for Pleasure and Nourishment

As soon as Dennis Zerbo told me it is okay to have a piece of chocolate now and then, I signed him up for this program. We plan to have an in-depth discussion about friendly relations with foods, making eating fun, and exploring some of the myths forced on us by the media and pharmaceutical companies. Dennis, a state-certified nutritionist and herbalist with affiliations at the Buck Institute and Sonoma Valley Hospital, will bring us up to date on sensible body- and mind-based approaches to our eating habits. If you have a New Year's resolution related to diet, you just might want to be here on the 29th. Open to members and volunteers. Please RSVP to or call the office at 707-776-6055.
